Yale completed its first row over the course here today, and while the time of the Blue crew was not announced, it was reported as being fast. Remarkably favorable conditions prevailed when the Eli oarsmen started up stream tonight at 7 o'clock in their time spin. A slight following wind, together with some assistance from the tide helped the Yale boat on its four mile row, and the futility of comparisons is realized here more than ever by the varying conditions which greet each new time trial.
