Usage:

...Class rowing for the spring will begin this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock, when all candidates for the Senior, Junior, and Sophomore class crews are expected to report at the Weld boathouse, prepared to row. Crews will be made up immediately and will continue practicing until about the middle of May, when the class races will be held. Everyone is asked to report whether he has had rowing experience or not, as the crews of each class will be graded and will race against the corresponding grade in the other classes, so that all will be on an equal footing...

...spite of the rain yesterday, three eights and a four-oared crew from the University squad were sent out on the river for a row up-stream above the Stillman Infirmary. The University eight rowed in the same order as Tuesday, with the exception of No. 2, which was filled by Coach Wray in the absence of Lunt. Coach Stephenson followed the other crews in a single, and as the river was calm, he was able to drill the men in blade work...

...University and two from the Freshman squad were launched on the river yesterday for the first time this year. Although it was feared when the Charles was dammed up that the ice would not leave the river until late in the spring, the crews last year had their first row only two days earlier. The floats at the Newell boathouse were down, and it is expected that the launches will be in commission by the first of next week...
