Since the ice is still blocked in front of Newell Boat Club, all crews rowed from Weld Boat Club, the stretch from the Anderson Bridge to the Western Avenue Bridge being clear. University A and B continued their practice at Lynn, and no changes of importance were made. A long row was taken yesterday, with Coaches Herrick and Haines directing the practice. These crews will not return to practice on the Charles River until a longer stretch of open water is available, for since all the accommodations at Lynn are satisfactory, a great deal would be lost in returning at the present time...
