Owing to the small number of times the class crews have rowed together, their work is not as far advanced as it should be so short a time before the race. The Senior crew is the farthest advanced; their blade work is good and they row well together, but have a tendency to slowness in starting the recover. The make-up of the Junior and Sophomore crews has been considerably changed lately, but they have nevertheless improved greatly in the last few days. The Law School crew has not attempted to adopt the new stroke introduced this year...
Dillingham and Filley did not go out yesterday, but will probably row again Monday. The orders were the same as Wednesday's except that Moller replaced Lloyd at bow in Foster's combination...
Yesterday each of the University crew combinations rowed two long stretches to the Watertown Bridge and back, while Mr. Colson coached from the launch. The orders were slightly changed owing to absences. Dillingham did not row on account of an injured finger, Judd taking his place at bow in the crew stroked by Brownell; and Sanger rowing at 6 in place of Filley...
