This Deal, Just For You. Morgans Hotel Group - which includes the Royalton in New York City and St. Martins Lane in London - has a new, more streamlined and user-friendly website. With full-screen pictures of the properties, you can see exactly what you're getting, and the calendar allows you to change dates easily, showing you immediately which rooms, at what price, are available. A related list of local restaurants, boutiques and things to do pops up as well - if you book a room in London during the end of March, for example, the site recommends that you check...
When Philippe Starck designed the Royalton Hotel, there were lamps that resembled animal horns and a champagne bar shaped like the inside of a bottle. "In the '80s, the boutique hotel was about design," says Starck. "Today we want something completely different. We don't speak about design." Dinner and a Show. With the election finally behind you, you may want to celebrate (or drown your sorrows), by escaping to New York City and taking in a fabulous Broadway show. Try this meal on for size: sunchoke soup, pan-seared branzino and sticky toffee pudding. Not a bad deal considering a similar menu à la carte would cost about $60. After the show...

Arnold Royalton (Roger Allam, channeling Brit pundit Christopher Hitchens as his most pompestuous), who occupies the opposite pole of plutocracy from Tony Stark. Royalton doesn't make things; he crushes people, to attain "the unassailable might of money." Speed's victory would be one for the independent entrepreneurs (the Racers are literally a Mom-and-Pops outfit) over the-global industrial complex. Which is fine, except that the Wachowskis, backed by uber-producer Joel Silver and Warner Bros., are not exactly underdogs. Indeed, they need vast resources to mount the lavish spectacle they...
