James Follen, known to Harvard men for many years as "Jimmy," gymnasium attendant and rubber, died suddenly at his home in Cambridge on September 13, after thirty-two years' connection with University athletics. His service began in 1879 when he was engaged as an attendant in the Gymnasium opened in that year.
