...will be the Crimson representatives, and T. C. Coxe '21 and G. W. Chapman '24 will run for Yale. Wharton seems to have the edge over Chute, having beaten him in the Tech meet, the Yale meet, the Princeton meet, and in the Intercollegiates. Which of the two Yale runners is the better is hard to tell; both have done well in competition, and turned in better times than either of the University men. Coxe was unable to run in the Harvard-Yale meet, being disabled with a pulled tendon. In the Princeton meet, however, he ran a close second...
...back are W. C. Bennett '23, R. N. Bryan '23, W. F. Eaton '22 and S. L. Tait '23. These men have all been displaying fine form this spring and should give a good account of themselves the coming season. J. W. Thursday every University runner will rest except the milers and two-milers, who will do only light work. Preliminaries in all but the two long distance events will take place Friday afternoon. If the best mark in any of the field events is made in the preliminaries Friday instead of the finals...
...best races in the July meet. Against the University Campbell made this distance in 1.58, but with better track conditions at Princeton he did it in 1.56 4.5. Mountain of Cambridge ran the two laps in 1.57 1-5. However, with Campbell pushing him the English runner could undoubtedly make better time. Captain Rudd of Oxford will also be a strong contender in the half...
