...minutes, the ball was constantly in Yale's territory. Twice Harvard's opponents were set back to their three-yard line on penalties, but each time Yale punted out of danger. Newhall secured the second punt on the 34-yard line, and a forward pass to Orr, and two rushes by Wendell carried the ball to Yale's 22-yard line. Here, however, Lincoln fumbled, Forbes securing the ball. Veeder at once punted and when Newhall fumbled the catch, Forbes downed the ball on Harvard's 47-yard line. Yale's offense decidedly lacks consistency; the team does not hang together well and its attack is not concerted. This is due mainly to the fact that the rush line does not carry its charge far or fiercely enough. The kicking game on the offense is very good, with the exception that the ends do not get down the field quickly enough...

...offence, often getting down the field on open plays or kicks before the ends. Peirce played a very satisfactory all-around game. Of all the linemen, however, Parker and Kersburg were the most efficient, for while they were in the game the Dartmouth backs were unable to rush the ball through the line with any sort of consistency. Captain Exendine nearly secured the ball in the scramble which followed, but Newhall finally downed it for a touchback. Two attempts were made to rush the ball after the kick-out, after which, with the ball on the 37-yard line, Libby tried a drop kick which fell short, but the ball rolled over the line for a touchback. Burr punted out, and Carlisle at once lost the ball on an onside kick on their...

Fraser replaced Parker at centre in the second half. Mount Pleasant downed Burr's kick-off on his 38-yard line. Carlisle rushed the ball nine yards, which was followed by an exchange of punts, Peirce downing the ball for Harvard on the Indian's 37-yard line after Libby's fumble. A forward pass to Macdonald gained 14 yards and two rushes by Wendell carried the ball to the 12-yard line. Dillon got the ball for Carlisle on a forward pass, and Mount Pleasant punted to Starr on Harvard's 46-yard line. In the next play Wendell...
