...writing to clarify an unintentional omission in the profile of me ("Are Harvard Students Happy?", Feb. 3). The article states that on Friday evenings at Hillel, "although Conservative and Orthodox Jews pray separately, they join together in a Sabbath meal after the service." While this is true, there are in fact as many as five services geared toward undergraduates which meet at Hillel or around campus on the Sabbath...

Recently, when ABC's Sunday chat show from Washington clicked into the now ritualistic lamentations made by the Sabbath Gasbags about the politics of personal destruction, William Kristol, citing victims who are all Republicans, said that a willingness to use politicians' adulterous behavior against them was, in fact, found exclusively among forces of the left. The other 'bags found this statement unremarkable; somehow, the name Richard Mellon Scaife did not leap to mind...

The Bible is also very clear about a number of other things. For example, when God catches a man picking up twigs on the Sabbath and thereby violating His law against working, He demands the man's death. Apparently, when He said you're not supposed to work on that day, He meant...
