Researchers at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland found that adding salmon oil to the diet seems to help lower the levels of triglycerides and a type of cholesterol known as VLDL (very-low-density lipoprotein) in patients with high levels of these potentially dangerous fatty substances.
