Soon after my arrival there was the inevitable rush to the serving table, replete with the typical luau spread: somen salad, lomi lomi salmon, sushi, kalua pig and cabbage, teriyaki beef, chicken long rice, dimsum, rice, haupia, coconut cake, and chi chi dango.
