Hashish Fudge. Only after Gertrude died did Alice become an author her self. Besides two charming cookbooks, which give recipes for such puckish delicacies as Hashish Fudge ("Two pieces are quite sufficient"), she wrote her own account of the Stein salon in What Is Remembered.
