Continuing this year as Lauro de Bosis Lecturer on History of Italian Civilization is Gaetano Salvemini, who has been a visiting professor at several universities in England and America for the past few years, and was at Harvard during the second half of the past year. Professor Salvemini served as Professor of History in the Universities of Messina, Pisa, and Florence from 1901 to 1925.
