Monday night, hundreds of students will pack into a flood-lit, camera-filled Sanders Theatre to hear her reveal her foibles. Poundstone is filming an HBO comedy special, "Paula Poundstone Goes to Harvard."
The awe-inspiring Memorial Church, the world-renowned Widener Library, the glorious Sanders Theater, the magnificent domes of Eliot House and Lowell and the Malkin Athletic Center (MAC)... Can somebody tell me which one of these things is not like the others?
"When I was lecturing in Sanders [Theater], there was a pool of black," says Porter University Professor Helen H. Vendler, citing her distaste for the large lecture hall.
"It's smaller than the current space [in the Union]," Nathans said. "We couldn't even accommodate freshmen spilling out of Sanders [Theatre] and Science Center B at this point."
Award-winning comedian Paula Poundstone will return to her native state and perform in Sanders Theatre October 23 for an HBO Comedy Hour special.
