Those poor, unfortunate inanities of Harvard 1911 have my profound sympathy. They, with their fellow Yale and Princeton men, represent the shattered remnants of the Puritanism that Santayana has so aptly described. The really sad thing is that they are too damn stupid to work the system out to its logical end. . . .
