Entries for the novice gymnastic meet will close this week. This meet is held every fall for the purpose of developing new material for the University team. There is a cup offered by Dr. Sargent for the man winning the largest number of points, and there are ribbons for the first places in all the events, which are: flying rings, horizontal bar, parallel bars, side horse, tumbling, and club swinging. As the number of entries has so far been very small, all undergraduates who have had any experience in apparatus work are urged to hand in their names at once...
...novice meet will be held on December 16, in which Dr. Sargent offers a cup to the winner of the greatest number of points. In addition, medals or ribbons will be presented to the winners of individual events. After the Christmas holidays, nine exhibitions or meets will be held in various parts of New England. These include dual meets with Brown and Amherst. The intercollegiate championship will be contested in March
