Eight men of the University track team left for Philadelphia by boat last evening to compete in the intercollegiate games tomorrow and Saturday. The rest of the squad will leave the Square at 8.20 o'clock and take the 9 o' clock train from Boston. Captain Dodge has been forbidden by the doctor to take part in the meet. ...Last Saturday the Freshmen tied Yale in a game of fifteen hard-fought innings, the score ending 2 to 2. Since then the Freshmen have done well in practice, and should be in better shape than last week to put up a fast, hard game.
