"We're trying to help the injured, and people are pointing at us, yelling, 'You're Arab! You did this to us, and what, now you're here to save lives?' It was like a knife in my heart." Adds Alian, "On the Israeli side, human lives are being lost, and the Arab side is demanding rights for statehood. I'm caught in between, angry and frustrated. All I can do is focus on my training and try to keep...

OFF THE RICHTER SCALE Taking advantage of Harvard’s inability to finish on offense, the Terriers hammered Richter in the net, keeping the pressure high on the Crimson. But Richter withstood the test, saving 39 shots overall, only three shy of his career-high performance, when he made 42 saves against St. Lawrence on Nov. 3. ...Undergraduate Education (CUE) discussed a proposal to create a database, the Harvard College Book Information System, where students could find the ISBN numbers of each book on every course syllabus. We wholeheartedly support such an initiative, which would make it easier for students to comparison-shop online and save money on their books. Although the Coop provides the conveniences of centralization and proximity, its virtual monopoly on ISBN numbers of books used in College courses is not one that Harvard administrators should protect. Currently, professors submit the ISBN numbers to the Coop, but those numbers are often unavailable to students...
