...have them out of their seats and cheering at Wednesday's meeting with the House Democratic Caucus, but according to TIME Washington correspondent John Dickerson, they're supportive behind closed doors, too. "It's not like the minute Clinton leaves the room, they're all grouching," says Dickerson. "This scandal isn't something their constituents worry about -- and until it is, they're not going to fret...
WASHINGTON: Still confused about the dress mess? The one at the FBI lab right now is blue, high-necked and from the Gap -- that much we know. But fans of this most salacious patch of the Lewinsky scandal (and who isn't one?) will remember that the media's February frock frenzy included tales of another dress, generally held to be a slinky black cocktail number, that seemed to mysteriously morph into the blue dress in reports this week...
...Saddam Hussein didn't exist, Bill Clinton would do well to invent him. Monica Lewinsky subjected herself to glitz-porn on the beach in an effort to replace that awful shot of her in the beret. In hiring a spokesman, Kenneth Starr was hoping we'd forget that picture of him smiling insipidly in his driveway while holding a black plastic bag of garbage. The President hopes that pictures of him toasting world leaders will replace the picture...
