Professor Kuehnemann's courses, German 19a and 19b, which are open to the public, will deal with the development of the modern drama, the starting point of which will be Schiller's "Wallenstein," as representing the highest form of the German drama of the classical period. The lectures of the first half-year will trace the German drama through the nineteenth century to the modern period, while the second half-year will be entirely devoted to the drama of today.
