...rise, eat, work, and go to bed at the call of the bugle was not a pleasant experience for those unaccustomed to such a stringent routine. As an attempt to combine academic with military work, the S. A. T. C. cannot be adjudged a success; the level of scholarship as shown by the records at the Office has visibly declined.
