Princeton men say in regard to George, the centre rusher, that he is a teacher in the Lawrenceville preparatory school, and for a long time refused to come back to Princeton to play foot-ball. He finally agreed, however, to re-enter Princeton when a promise was given him of having his position at Lawrencevile reserved for him. Cash entered only for the foot ball season, the Princeton men say, and in order to comply with the rule that he must stay the year out he will cut so many recitations that the faculty will expel...

PILLADELPHIA, Pa., Nov. 15, 1889-Another instance of the prevalent and pernicious system of "ringing in" outsider came to light here today. R. S. Ammerman of Danville. Pa., is a member of the University of Pennsylvania Law school and a very fine base ball player. An influential member of the Harvard nine was in town yesterday and today endeavoring to get Ammerman to leave Pennsylvania and enter Harvard.
