Saturday afternoon the Freshman lacrosse team defeated the Columbia University freshmen on Soldiers Field in their final game of the season by the score of 6 to 0. The victory of the Freshmen was due chiefly to their strong defense, although errors of judgment destroyed several chances which Columbia has for scoring. In the first ten minutes of play, Sampson scored twice for the Freshmen and before the end of the first half Burr and Smith each made a goal.
