Yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock Messrs. Lee and P. Sears met at the Beck Hall courts, to decide the Tennis championship of the college. The first set was won by Sears, score, 6-3. In the second set Lee improved in his play and compelled Sears, who finally won the set, to play his best. Score, 8-6. ...spite of the threatening weather a goodly number of spectators gathered on Jarvis yesterday afternoon to see Eighty-seven play her second game with Ninety and beat her by a score of 12 to 9 after a ten inning game. Eighty-seven proved stronger at the bat than Ninety, making two more hits and a larger total than the latter. The battery of the former was also more steady and effective. The fielding of the freshmen however was excellent, making as they did but four errors, the weak spot of the nine, being as in all other games, its battery...

Harvard won the last of her championship games in Brooklyn, on Tuesday, by defeating New York University 4 goats to 0. The ball was placed at 4.40 p. m. New York was on the defensive from the start and the score was only kept down by the fine defence work of Matthews and Roberts and the size of the field which did not give our men room for their best team work...

...Sears brothers, the winners of the spring tournament, three straight sets in an exhibition match. Many friends of both teams were present and were confident of victory for their favorites, which fact added double interest to the contest. The first set was beautifully played by 'both sides until the score stood six games all, when Tailer and Snow won the next two games by sharp volleying.
