After a long drill in passing and shooting the Freshman and second hockey teams lined up for a brisk 40-minute scrimmage at the Stadium rinks yesterday afternoon. The Freshmen had considerably the better of the contest, defeating the second team 3 to 0. The score would undoubtedly have been larger had it not been for the excellent work of Whitmarsh, the second team goal-tend. The Freshmen outskated the second team men and their stick-work and shooting were far superior. 1918 should give a good account of itself when it meets Pomfret next Saturday...

...Arena reduced to the same size as the St. Nicholas rink in New York where the University will meet Princeton next Saturday and the speed in consequence was considerably increased. The Freshmen have an unusually strong team this year and it was some time before the University began to score. Captain Claflin finally took the puck down the rink and drove it past Gwathmey on a clever, short shot. A few minutes later he again scored on a long drive that Gwathmey barely missed stopping. Wanamaker made the last score on a short individual rush...
