Encryption wasn't the biggest problem in creating Joost. ...Goodbye” finds its influences not in the sexiness of the band’s name but rather in its Japanese background. The aesthetic scheme of the video is origami, and little happens besides the shifting of a number of colorful designs decorating the screen and Yuki singing and moping around the paper landscape. I mentioned Yuki’s “potential” attractiveness because it’s hard to get a good look at her face, what with her side bangs and all the millisecond close-ups.
