Blue-books will be placed at Leavitt & Peirce's at 9 o'clock this morning in which all members of the University who wish to form teams to play in the scrub hockey series should sign at once. The entries will close next Wednesday at 5 o'clock. It has been decided not to have a regular second team this year, so that all men who would have reported for that are expected to enter the scrub series. The games will be carefully watched and any men showing the necessary ability will be tried out on the University squad...
...beaten twice by the Intercolonials and once by the B. A. A., in the latter case losing by a very small score. The University team has won one scrimmage of the several played against the B. A. A. and has tied one. A week ago Saturday Technology and a scrub team composed mainly of members of the University squad played a tie game, each side scoring five goals. This, however, was hardly a fair trial for either team, as poor ice greatly handicapped the forward lines...

The second rink will be placed in this position because of the ease with which it can be kept banked and flooded, and will probably be used for the scrub hockey series, while that in the Stadium will be used for the Freshman team. Work will probably be started on these rinks some time this week...
...scrub team composed mainly of members of the University hockey squad was given a half-hour's scrimmage with the Technology team in the Arena Saturday afternoon, each side scoring five goals. The forward line on the scrub team was the same as the one which has been playing on the first University team in practice, but it was so hindered in skating and passing by poor ice that its work was hardly a fair test. The most noticeable fault was the inability of the wings to keep up with the centre men. It must be remembered in this connection...
