Yesterday afternoon the Freshman eleven lined up for fifteen minutes against a scrub team composed partly of 'Varsity men. The interference for 1901 was weak at times and there was a marked tendency towards individual playing in place of team work. After this the first eleven ran through their signals and then lined up against the second for a few minutes play. The work in this line-up showed a marked improvement over their playing against the scrub eleven. The forwards interfered well for the runners and the backs showed up better both in the quickness of their play...
