Princeton, N. J., November 3.--The Princeton eleven was given an hour's scrimmage with the scrubs today, the first half being devoted to defensive work against Harvard formations used by the scrub eleven, and the second half to offensive play. It took the Varsity a long time to diagnose some of the Harvard plays, but after they had warmed up to it, scrub gains were rare. The scrubs did not score but the Varsity made two touchdowns.
