...Haven, Conn., November 17.--The football team held what will doubtless be the last scrimmage before the game Saturday this afternoon against the scrub eleven. The first team was able to score twice, Scovil and McLeish making the touchdowns and Le Gore kicking the goals. A number of graduates assembled in the Bowl to watch the scrimmage, which was held for the purpose of perfecting the defence. Secret signal practice and the regular routine work were held on the old field previous to the scrimmage, five teams running through the rehearsal of signals. The line-up was as follows...

There seems to be considerable difficulty in regard to settling the scrub and interdormitory football championships this fall. The interdormitory series are held up as a result of the tie between Smith and Gore which, if possible, will be played off this afternoon. The "Bingos" and "Crows" played to a 0 to 0 tie yesterday, neither side having the power to score. Probably the "Bingos" will go against the "Scamps" this afternoon...

...scrub football series is rapidly drawing to a close. The final round in the Haughton series will begin this afternoon when the "Bingos" meet the "Crows," the winner of this game going against the "Scamps" tomorrow. The elevens of Smith and Gore play tomorrow in an endeavor to settle the Freshman interdormitory championship which they were unable to decide in their game last Friday.
