...groups are the same, of course. Some are strongly cohesive, such as the CRIMSON, SDS, the Loeb, the football team. Others are less well-defined, depending more on mutual interest than mutual action, such as the informal circle of mathematicians or movie-makers. The groups have undefined boundaries.
