...Hampshire, the mass arrests came close to bankrupting the state, costing it $50,000 a day, while the local community turned strongly against the Public Service Company of New Hampshire (PSC) and reactionary state government. So much so, in fact, that the residents of Seabrook recently voted this time in a binding referendum, to cut off the Public Service Company's water supply. PSC responded by getting a court injunction against the town's action, and has since been hounded by threats of violence from Seabrook housewives, who are already being forced to ration water...
