Mystic Seaport, the nation's largest maritime museum (and commonly mistaken name for the town) is a perfect introduction to the 18th and 19th century shipping port. If you prefer sealife to seaware, visit the neighboring aquarium. Or a slice of pizza from Mystic Pizza is always an option...
