Last Friday, one of the hottest days of the season thus far, witnessed the summer meeting of the Athletic Association on Jarvis Field. LAST year the season was backward, the weather was by no means as pleasant at this time as it is this year, and yet on the river there is now much less activity than there was at the same date last year.
