The score was 29-13 and Harvard couldn't possibly come back...
March 11: King Collins and four of his followers were arrested when they disrupted a Soc Rel 153 class for the second time in a week. Cambridge police said they were holding Collins on a variety of charges, including assault and battery, possession of narcotics, and trespassing. The group was arrested after another argument with course instructor Alex Inkeles. When Collins ignored Inkeles' repeated requests to leave, police moved in and carried the group away...
...victory. In 1942 the Crimson lost to Yale 7-3 and it would be two more years before a Harvard team would take the field again. When it did, in October 1945, it was a different story. That year we amassed a 5-3 season, only the second winning record since 1937. The next year, led by flashy halfbacks Chip Gannon and Cleo O'Donnell, Harvard rolled to a 7-2 mark, dropping the Yale game 27-14. Things were starting to return to normal...

Afterwards, Martin came back to Harvard and aced all his finals, salvaging an almost-Group III average ("You'll do fine next term," said the Dean) and actually enjoying life occasionally. He sailed with full colors into he second term, in good spirits and, according to his lady shrink-trainee, in excellent mental health...
