...yesterday afternoon on the Jarvis Field Courts. There were 29 entries, representing Andover, Boston Latin School, Exeter, Newton High, St. Mark's and Milton. Twenty-two matches were played during the afternoon, in which Andover was an easy leader, winning nine out of ten matches played, with Exeter in second place with a total of five matches won. Kaltenback of Andover, after defeating Dana of Boston Latin, Marshall of Exeter, and Moore of Exeter, was the only man to reach the semi-finals. The six remaining matches will be played this morning...

Y., William Hettleman '19, of Baltimore, Md., and James Conlan Scanlan '18, of Somerville. ...this branch of the service has been received. Men between the ages of 20 and 35 years, who can show by certificate from the R. O. T. C. headquarters that they have completed the entire military instruction afforded at the University, will be eligible for commissions as first or second lieutenants in the Marine Corps.
