Wildes and Kingsley played very cautiously in the second set and did not recover in the third until the score was 5-2, against them. With the score 5 all in the eleventh game some very good plays were made, but after four deuces, a poor play of Kingsley's lost the game...
...class met in Upper Massachusetts yesterday afternoon to continue their election of officers, President Trafford in the chair. For vicepresident the names of J. D. Upton of Andover, R. Thomas, of Hopkinson's, and Cullinan were voted on. As no candidate received a majority, the class proceeded to a second vote by which Upton was elected. CORNELL SCORED AGAINST YALE.In a game between Yale and Cornell, played at New Haven, Wednesday, Cornell succeeded in scoring against Yale. In the first half, Yale played a strong game and made seven touchdowns, scoring 34 points, and in the first part of the second half they made four touchdowns, with a score of 22 points. In the latter part of the half, however, Yale played poorly and Cornell by good rush line play, and hard work by the backs secured a touchdown from which a goal was kicked. Final score 56 to 6.
