...practice of the University eleven yesterday was light and consisted chiefly of running through signals. During the half hour spent thus the work was sharp and accurate, and the plays, almost without exception, ran smoothly. The first eleven lined up for a few minutes to block the second eleven's kicks, but were not once successful. After the practice Burnett and Sawin tried goals from the field.
