In one or two of these we believe the writer of a thesis is also allowed to substitue his thesis for the required work in forensics. There would seem to be every reason why this privilege should be extended to other courses as well. Work done on a thesis of this sort is certainly as well done and as thoroughly done as any work a man may do in college, and the faculty therefore should ofter every encouragment...
