Though the weather was fine, few were present, and the playing was not especially good. In the afternoon however a large number of prominent society people were present and the playing was an improvement over that of the morning. As will be seen by the score, the Harvard men, Wrenn, Hoppin and Winslow all won, while Yale's representative, Fowler, was easily defeated by Chace of Brown.
