Color with Fields, In the CBS color system (called "field sequential"), the transmitting camera, like the ordinary black & white camera, has a single Image Orthicon "seeing" tube. This week Moscow's hordes of subway-riding white-collar workers and bureaucrats were full of stir as workmen put the finishing touches on a new subway line. It is the first segment of a Great Circle line that will intersect the present three spokelike crosstown lines (see map). A fine rhythm section-Baby Dodds, drums; Pops Foster, bass; Ralph Sutton, piano; and Danny Parker, guitar-make the base for all of these pieces. This segment stands out in "Eccentric" behind Davison's trumpet.
