...sharp earthquake shock was registered yesterday morning at the Harvard Seismograph Station. Professor J. B. Woodworth, in charge of the station, reported at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon that according to his calculations the earthquake must have occurred at 22 minutes and 33 seconds past 8 Eastern Standard time yesterday morning, and at a distance of 2125 miles from the observatory, but it is impossible to tell the direction of the earthquake from Cambridge.
