...rest of the characters function more as  shallow types rather than direct appropriations. Worthington, (whose semi-human characters in “Avatar” and the abysmal “Teminator Salvation” are remarkably similar to that of Perseus), plays the inexperienced, yet brave and naturally talented “chosen one” struggling internally to balance idealism and principle with his desire to save humanity.  Determined to avenge his father’s death at the hands of the gods, Perseus needs to decide whether or not to use the gifts...

...lines. For the opening few scenes, he looks like he will. He acts with presence and confidence, playing Caliban as the downtrodden but spirited revolutionary. But that interpretation just doesn't work. Caliban's situation strikes the viewer as poignant because, by our society's terms, he is only semi-human. ...article on the Op-ed Page of The New York Times, David Landau '72 defends Dr. Kissinger's "tardiness" in ending the war. "Although Kissinger has a big brain," Landas writes, "he is semi-human like the rest of us." In a citywide ecology dragnet Cambridge police arrest six staff members of the Harvard University Gazette and book them for "willful, premeditated and repeated pollution of the area with noxious and pointless litter." Collapsing in the face of police interrogation, Harvard Publicity Director Deans Lord admits that Derek Bok, Henry Kissinger and Patrick Moynihan were her creation. "We needed some...
