...Steelers ? playing for taxpayer goodwill as they try to pass a bond issue for a new stadium ? at least accomplished the latter. Although their hard-fought 13-10 loss to the Chiefs dropped the team to second place in the AFC Central standings, the team played well enough to send Pittsburgh residents to bed full of charitable feelings towards the franchise. Whether this will be enough to pass a measure that trails by as much as 3-1 in some polls will be decided today...
