ATTITUDES TOWARD ARABS: Such sentiment against the refugees is partly a reflection of Israeli prejudice against Arabs generally (see chart). It is impossible to determine the extent to which such feelings have been colored by a quarter-century of war and unremitting hostility between Arab and Jew.
