...Department of Pathology of the Medical School has established a laboratory of Serum Diagnosis under the direction of Dr. Frederick P. Gay '97. This new laboratory undertakes to make certain diagnoses that have been proved to be of clinical or forensic value and, in addition, offers to those qualified, facilities for research in problems connected with the physiology and pathology of blood serum and tissue fluids.
