...Fifty-seven delegates will represent the University at the Des Moines Convention commencing on December 31. From a great number of men who signified their desire to attend, the committee in charge of the convention at the University had to narrow the number of delegates to 57. This was necessary because of the tremendous number of institutions throughout the country which are sending delegates to the conventions. Over 8000 are expected as things stand now, and many, colleges have shown such enthusiasm that they have asked to have their quota doubled if possible.
