...fact was that every big magazine had fewer newsstand buyers-but more subscribers-than a year ago. (Some were converting newsstand buyers into subscribers, to stabilize their circulation.) ...amazed that the Bruckner Quintet is not heard more often; the Adagio is one of the most beautiful of its kind, and Tuesday's performance brought out its every shade.
