Just minutes before the attack - which took place on Sunday night at the end of a political rally - a group of young opponents had started heckling Berlusconi. ...banks are expert at staying just on the right side of the Administration's guidelines for lending, and they have many friends on the Hill who can help defuse a movement to punish the banks. Which is why Obama's weapon of choice for now will be trying to shame the banks into better behavior. Which has the benefit of making political sense, as well...
