Humble Heroes Tom Henderson's article on ShelterBox modestly refrained from mentioning that the charity is based in Helston, in Cornwall in the far southwest of England [Feb. 15]. Cornwall is the poorest county in England, despite large numbers of "settlers" like me. Its population receives wages 20% lower than the U.K. average, it receives E.U. aid, and there is a serious lack of affordable housing.
